Sometimes I think we need a couple of years before college to experience life before making a career choice. My daughter did the same as you- she graduated with a journalism degree but is now completing her internship in Elem Ed. Yes, I wish she had done this first, but perhaps the few years helped her mature and get ready to tackle teaching! Thanks for sharing your story! Carol Teachers Are Terrific!
